Our annual fundraiser, "Claremont Eclectic: A Tour of Six Local Gardens", gives you a chance to see some creative Claremont gardens, talk to the owners, and get some inspiration for your own garden! And it's a lot of fun!
The 2020 tour is scheduled for Sunday, April 19, from 1pm to 4:30pm. Tickets will still be only $20, and starting in mid-February you will be able to buy them online here, or in person at Claremont Heritage in Memorial Park and at Rio de Ojas, 250 Harvard Ave.
Tickets include entrance to Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden on the day of the tour and one other day during the following month. The tour will start at the RSABG parking lot (1500 N. College Ave) where you can pick up the brochure and a map to the gardens between 10 am and 1pm.
The proceeds of the tour allow us to cover our expenses and to make contributions that benefit the community. They pay for speakers, door prizes, printing and miscellaneous costs, garden tour and flower show expenses, and books for our free lending library. They have allowed us to make donations to school gardens at Oakmont, Vista, Chaparral, and Claremont High School; to Claremont Heritage, along with flower arrangements for their Home Tours; to the RSABG volunteers; to the Sustainable Claremont Green Crew for children's planting tools; to Uncommon Good; and to the City of Claremont to replace some trees.
Tickets for the 2020 Tour are now available online!
Please print out a copy of the receipt PayPal sends you (which will say a payment was made to Sustainable Claremont) and bring it to the Garden Club table in the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden parking lot between 10 am and 1 pm on the day of the tour to exchange for a ticket and pick up a tour map and brochure. We hope to see you there!
