Kyra Saegusa has two great loves in the garden: California native plants and yummy things to eat and drink. Join us to learn how to get double-duty out of common but wonderful native plants that thrive in the garden. For example, sages smell nice and are amazing as a spice, with each cultivar imparting a different and complex flavor profile. Learn how to start to experimenting with eating out of your native plant garden, and kick up your everyday cooking with the terroir of California! A light sampling of some of Kyra’s favorite recipes will accompany the talk!
